Transportation is readily available, you can catch a bus, taxi or rent a car. Many companies, restaurants, shops and cultural attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. If you want to make your way around town the Danish way, then rent a bike and be on your way.

Getting to the hotel from Copenhagen Airport

Metro
Enter the metro station from Terminal 3. Take the metro M2 to Christianshavn Station, where you change to metro M1. Get off at Islands Brygge Station. The hotel is a 5 minute walk away.

Bus
Take bus 5A towards Husum Torv and get off at Ørestads Boulevard. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes from the airport.

Taxi
Private taxis are widely available right outside the airport. The trip by taxi takes approximately 15 minutes but allow more time during rush hour.

 

Getting to the hotel from downtown Copenhagen

Metro
Take the metro M1 from downtown and get off at Islands Brygge Station. Walk north on Ørestads Boulevard for approximately 5 minutes to get to the hotel.

Bus
Bus 5A from downtown Copenhagen towards København Lufthavn (Copenhagen Airport) takes approximately 5 minutes.

Public transportation

Thanks to its excellent transportation system, making your way around Copenhagen is easy. Traveling by bus, train, metro or boat is cheap, convenient and enjoyable, making it the perfect way to get from place to place when visiting the Danish capital. Purchasing tickets
Before you board public transport in Copenhagen it is important to have purchased a ticket. You can buy your tickets in ticket machines, which accept Danish cash and the most common credit cards, or 7 Eleven kiosks at the train and metro stations. Bus tickets can be purchased from the driver but will require you to bring cash, as they do not accept credit cards. Once you have purchased a ticket you may use this for the metro, bus, train and harbor bus. There are period tickets available and you can also buy tickets on separate apps.

Cards such as the Copenhagen Card offer free public transport, in addition to discounts and free admission to several attractions and museums. The CityPass is a 24 or 72-hour period ticket available, offering free public transportation at a pleasant price. Getting to and from Kastrup airport
If you are arriving Denmark at Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup, making your way to the city center and our hotel is easy. You can take the M2 metro to Christianshavn station, change to the M1 and get off at Islands Brygge station, just a short walk from our hotel. As an alternative you can take bus 5A towards Husum Torv and get off at Ørestads Boulevard. The trip takes approximately 30 minutes.

Making your way by metro and bus
Copenhagen’s metro system consists of two lines; the M1 and M2. With 22 stations spread across the city this is one of the best ways to make your way around the capital. The metro runs 24/7, with departures every 3-6 minutes outside rush hour. After midnight on weekdays the metro departs every 20 minutes. On weekends, the metro arrives with a 7-15 minute interval after midnight.

There are more than 400 bus stops spread across the city, ensuring that you can get where ever you need to go with ease and comfort. A-buses are the primary buses in central Copenhagen, with departures every 10 minutes (every 3-7 minutes during peak hours in the morning and afternoon). The A-buses serve at all hours. S-buses service fewer stops than the A-buses and are faster. These however, only run from 06:00 to 01:00.
